ORDERS

All products which are not on our shelves are subject to availability from our suppliers.
If more than one item is required orders will not normally be despatched until all items can be delivered.


NEXT DAY

When you see NEXT DAY beside a product we mean we have free stock of at least 1 part and if you live in mainland UK you should receive it by either First Class Mail or NEXT DAY carrier - (depending on weight).
If you live in the areas described by the main parcel carriers as "Highlands and Islands" the delivery will take at least 1 day longer.
NOTE: The term DAY means normal working - Monday to Friday.


ORDER DEADLINE

Last order time for next working day is 4:30 PM UK time


CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

Credit Card Payments will not normally be taken until the full order is ready for despatch, (the exception to this would be for very valuable parts which have to be ordered especially for you).


PRICES

PLEASE NOTE: Prices are correct for parts currently held in stock, but may be subject to alteration WITHOUT further notice if they have to be ordered and our supplier has increased the price to us.
Prices displayed for products and delivery are exclusive of V.A.T.


DELIVERY METHOD

Our normal methods of delivery are first class post and carrier.


UK HANDLING/INSURANCE CHARGES

Our standard charge for handling/insurance on orders placed on this website and delivered by first class mail is £4.50. If the order is too heavy or too valuable to be delivered by mail we may use a carrier and the cost will be confirmed by an emailed quotation if greater than £4.50


DELIVERY COST OUTSIDE THE UK

For orders outside the UK each order will be individually quoted for delivery.


OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

Items which are out of stock on the day of ordering, will be automatically back ordered.
Goods will not normally be despatched until all items can be delivered together.


RETURNS

Goods will not be accepted back without a returns authorisation. A re-stocking charge of up to 100% may be deducted from credit notes issued for goods ordered in error, not required or for items or packaging, which are returned to us marked or defaced. Non-stocked parts, which are ordered specially, may not be returned to C.H.S. under any circumstances.

CLAIMS

Claims for short delivery or damage must be made in writing to our Head Office or by email to sales@charleshyde.co.uk within FIVE DAYS from receipt of goods.


OWNERSHIP

Until full payment has been received by the Selling Company (C.H.S.) of all amounts due from the Buyer under this Contract or otherwise, the property in the goods shall remain with C.H.S. and the Buyer shall store them so that they are readily identifiable as belonging to C.H.S. If the goods have been resold the Seller's beneficial entitlement shall attach to the proceeds of resale or to a claim for such proceeds. The Buyer shall be the trustee in respect of such proceeds of resale until payment has been received by C.H.S.


RETENTION OF TITLE

If any payment is overdue under our published terms, or the Buyer ceases to trade or enters into any arrangement with his creditors or has a receiver appointed or a petition is presented or a resolution passed for the winding up of the Buyer (if a company) other than for the purpose of a bona fide reconstruction or amalgamation, the Company's consent to the Buyers possession of his goods cease and C.H.S. or C.H.S.'s agent may recover them forthwith from the Buyer or from any person not being a bona fide purchaser of them without notice of this clause and C.H.S. may enter upon the premises where its Goods may be, to search for and remove them.


TERMS OF PAYMENT

Customers may pay by Credit or Debit Card, BACS or by sending Postal Orders or a Cheque with a written order.
Payment by cheque may result in the order being delayed whilst the cheque is cleared.


OUTSTANDING INVOICES

The Company reserves the right to sue any Debtor for full payment of all outstanding invoices. In such event the Buyer shall be responsible for legal costs in the preparation and completion of the Company's action for debt.


SPECIFICATIONS

On this site, specifications are, to the best of our knowledge correct. We do, however, reserve the right to alter them without notice if absolutely necessary.
